Challenges of Quality Control for File-Based Video

Compressed digital content is complex - different standards, resolutions, formats, color spaces, meta data. Many parameters must be correctly specified, if the content is going to be played correctly and reach the end-viewer correctly.

 

Using automated file-based QC solutions can reduce your end-to-end file time, reduce the number of people in the workflow, and reduce churn by having your content accepted the first time.

Cerify will check all aspects of the video, audio and meta-data in a consistent, configurable manner, log the errors as the content is checked, inform the automation system and send e-mails to users and content encoders, detailing errors found (including specific error type and location).

Video in virtually any compressed format can be checked: MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.264/AVC, VC-1, H.263, H.261, SD, HD, 720p, 1080i, NTSC, PAL, 24fps.
