For a limited time beginning July 10, 2008, the Tektronix Video Product Line offers all customers selected free options on the purchase of new and TekSelect MTS400 and MTS430 analyzers, as described below.
For Broadcast Engineers who are deploying new services, in particular H.264 video, we will be offering the MTS400 bundled with FREE tools intended to help engineers quickly resolve interoperability problems, thereby accelerating the introduction of new services. The MTS400 Bunle will include:
- Buffer and PES Analyzers
- Offline Transport Stream Compliance Aanalyser
- MTS4CC MPEG Elementary Stream Compliance Checking Software
- plus all CODEC options including AVC/H.264, MPEG2, MPEG4 and VC1
For R&D Engineers developing professional and consumer equipment, we will offer the MTS430 with a free additional license for installation on the user’s own PC. The additional license contains all of the software tools included as standard on an MTS430. This includes the TSCA, PES and Buffer analysers, Multiplexer, Make Seamless utility and real-time TS analyzer (TSCR) for use with streams received on the NIC port. The additional license could either be used to equip another R&D engineer with the tools or provide access to the tools on the user’s laptop when travelling.
