To upgrade a "WFM" Waveform Monitor, easiest method will be via front panel USB port. This procedure is as follows:
- Ensure that your WFM has been already upgraded with the new Opt FP Front Panel - this software MUST NOT be installed in a WFM6100, WFM7000 or WFM7100 that does not have the new FP installed
- Unzip the folder downloaded above and extract files to a directory named “WfmUpgrd” on your USB memory stick
- Plug the USB memory stick into the WFM front panel USB port
- Select Config menu on the WFM
- Navigate to the Utilities menu and select System Upgrade -> USB Upgrade
- The WFM will automatically detect the new software and perform the upgrade which will take some 15-20 minutes.
- Once the upgrade is finished the WFM will restart with the new software.
To upgrade a "WVR" Waveform Rasteriser will require a PC connection to your WVR via the ethernet port.
